Wilder will always have a chance because of that one punch power. Even if he gets beaten easily by Fury again, I wouldn’t say he’s terrible. I’d still love to see him in with AJ.

I’m looking forward to Joyce/Dubois though. I think Joe will surprise folk.

Everyone in heavyweight boxing always has a chance. That's why it's the only division where rarely do the greats go undefeated and it's more about how you bounceback from defeat. One punch power throughout the division, but even more so with Wilder obviously. I'd never say he was terrible, but he's always had suspect boxing ability, and once the fear factor goes from those facing him, and the doubt in his mind is always there, it levels the playing field a lot more.

Fury could have ruined him. And the fact Fury could go undefeated and be a two-time undisputed champion makes his career potentially even more impressive.

I'm picking Joyce to beat Dubois. He's one of the toughest heavyweights in the division right now and not getting anywhere near enough credit.

i think thats about what i said. No-one expected it to be an eliminator but it was marketed as the big step towards the Fury / Wilder showdown almost as guaranteed.

Well it was if Whyte won. The WBC had said negotiations with Whyte would have to start the very next day after Fury/Wilder, providing he won. Hence the rumours about Tyson vacating the WBC title, Frank Warren being in the press saying that Fury vs. AJ doesn't need all the belts to be a big fight, and Hearn saying AJ could fight Whyte for that WBC title.

I have zero issue with any of the marketing.

Walk in the park. No idea what the BT commentators were watching having it so close. Joe jabbed his head off, looked fitter, and took all of Daniel's good punches without fuss. He's not an exciting boxer, but he'll take some beating.

Dubois can come again, but I can't help but see a young version of Chisora. He has no head movement, limited shot choice, and knocking out a load of bums means nothing.

Joyce beats Usyk by the way, if he gets that fight.

Agreed, I don't think Usyk would have the power or size to compete with Joyce.

Usyk is going nowhere at heavy.

I'm not often wrong regards boxing, but I hope I am on this. Because he's my kind of technical fighter, and has charisma. Unlike big juggernaut Joe! :D

Joyce can not will beat everyone at heavy except Fury & Usyk.

Worst possible styles for him I think. Great head movement, footwork & stamina. Completely take away Joyce’s best attributes.

He can’t wear them down. He tried it before against Usyk & just took a beating.

It’s going to be interesting anyway. Joshua’s going to have make a deal with Fury or face Usyk. And then if he vacated we get Usyk - Joyce.

Agree on Dubois. Too much too soon. Gorman was a good win at British level but your going from that to fighting one of the best heavies in the world who won silver at the last Olympics & has years & years of experience fighting the best there is all over the world in the amateurs. It’s a huge jump in levels.

Reminds me of David Price going from facing no adversity & knocking out a shot Audley Harrison to jumping in with 6 foot 5 southpaw & top heavy Tony Thompson who’d only lost to Klitschko. And then putting him back in with him & getting beat again. He’s never been the same fighter. I hope they rebuild Dubois properly he’s only a kid at 23.

I had Joyce 2 up but one of the judges had Dubois 8 up. Crazy.
