Really enjoyed his performance last night, our midfield was outnumbered but he made lots of good tackles, interrupted attacks, gave confidence. I think he played for the longest time before being substituted, as well.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence either that our turn in form has come since we added the experience of James to the squad. We need to do everything reasonable to keep this guy until the end of the season.

    Rolls Royce of a footballer.

I hope the coaching staff are having prospects like Styles shadowing him in training, as they have the chance to learn from an amazing talent while he's here...

The first call of the new year should be to Brendan Rogers. Free transfer probably on the cards but high wages. Can’t even think about not trying to get him

I thought he was poor first half, lots of stray passes and seemed slow to first and second balls.

Second half was an improvement. Which seemed to result in our overall performance improving too.

We're not playing a left back(or right back) at the moment, are we?

Listened to Ben Marshall on the Undr The Cosh (Jon Parkins) podcast yesterday. Said what an excellent player he is.

Can't believe it wasn't a red card, even back in the 70's it would have surprised nobody if it got a red.

He looked to be drifting out of the team a few weeks ago.

Presumably he is returning to Leicester in January?

I really hope you're right. I haven't really seen much from him so far, tbh.

Initially he will have to go back to his club as the loan was until january but hopefully a deal to keep him until the end of the season could then be struck , quality player

Can’t see him getting into the Leicester team, so not a lot of benefit in him going back, to his parent club, hopefully he will as you say come back, only risk could be a loan elsewhere as would imagine him moving on in the Summer from Leicester.

To be fair to Leicester he did manage a few appearances last season but you are right this season will probably be his last on the Leicester books & I am afraid I think he is out of our league when it comes to wages but fingers crossed we keep him for the play offs !
