Poor commentator, he must have thrown his hands up in despair !!!
There was no way he was ever going to keep apologising for what we all heard. I suppose there comes a point where it's pointless.
But then again we all need nannying as nobody has ever heard a swear word on tv before, never ever.

If swearing in public causes harassment, alarm or distress then it can be considered as an offence under section 5 of the Public Order Act 1986. But it is never applied.

apologies are pointless and imo unnecessary.

At the start of each match the commentator could just say “I apologise if you’re so sensitive and naive that you didn’t realise that professional football has a history, and some would say a rite of passage, whereby young people are introduced to swearing. The good news is that today, because of Covid, you’re only likely to hear it from a handful of people rather than the normal 30,000.”

Let’s be fair, if you’re offended by bad language, perhaps football isn’t the game for you.

Early in the game the commentator stated there was a chance "bad" language might be audible. He apologised but said there was nothing they could do. I think that's a good announcement and lets everyone know what the content will be. People who don't want to hear that can either turn down the volume or switch it off. But don't keep listening and then complain, you've made the choice.

    That correct
Also I’d would imagine that anyone who actually had their heads kicked in ,the swearing element informing them that this was going to happen would be well down the list of complaints against them imo . :D

Managers who constantly use expletives to express themselves to their players or officials need to have a word with themselves,
especially in the current situation when they know they can be heard above everyone else and the game is being broadcast live.
Stop swearing please, it doesn't add owt or influence owt.
