I only know of a couple who are non believers. I've always thought it was real. I'm not as paranoid as most. I follow the rules more for my son, parents and partner. I'm not arsed if I get it (I'm sure i had it Nov/Dec 2019) before first lockdown. I'm 50/50 with the figures were fed though. Also don't get many of the lockdown rationale that we have to abide and follow. BTW I have worked on the frontline and seen it first hand.
So sorry to hear your awful news, Andy, old friend. Sincere condolences to you & your family and best wishes to your brother-in-law..
I lost my Dad just after Christmas - hence me losing the plot in that Brexit thread. I don't believe people think it's not real - but they just think it's flu, which is just as bad imo.
Ridiculous to deny its existence. I’ve no doubt there’s plenty of people died of it who would’ve probably died in the near future anyway but it’s disgusting the way some go on as if them dying a few months or a year or two earlier than they would’ve done naturally doesn’t matter. You’ve only to look at the excess deaths figure to see the seriousness of it.
Sorry to hear that. Hope you’re in a better place mentally, your behaviour was very out of character.
Sorry to hear of your terrible loss, mate. Deepest sympathy and condolences. It's good to see you're feeling well enough to start posting again.
