Hope not but it’s quite possible. No need to and make him into a sort of outcast for simply weighing up his options
I apologise for being too forward but imagine if you were waiting on a bird at Barnsley Interchange and she'd been washing her hair for six hours.
& the rest!? I remember sitting in the ponty end when Nicky Eaden was getting abuse in warm up & match. Early Bassett season? Notably, I remember Joyce & Beresford before him, but Nicky was a proto wing back before that really became a position in the modern game. His Gran lived in old people bungalows off Mel Avenue in Hoyland. My mam knew her from church. Saw Nick’s sponsed little ford there lots early. Great footballer. Under appreciated..
It’s not a great look the captain of the football club seemingly not wishing to renew his contract. If he moves on so be it.
Depends on your world view. Wouldn’t I rather have a date with a girl who thought I was worth the effort and was great company than one who turns up on time doesn’t pay for her share of dinner and doesn’t put out.
No need to apologise, as for your analogy, I would run a mile coz she was probably trying to get rid of her head lice
This article quotes VI as saying that Alex wants to stay. The sticking point appears to be that up to now, the Club have not yet met the salary level that the player and possibly his agent is prepared to accept. They sound to have rejected any offers for him to go in this window and VI is saying the speculation regarding Styles is " noise", so let's hope the Board pay Mowatt what he's looking for, so that we can end all the speculation and get on with the remainder of our season. https://the72.co.uk/215090/barnsley-boss-makes-alex-mowatt-demand-after-rejecting-transfer-bid/
Using the girlfriend analogy, if she’s been going out with you for four years and you say how important she is to you, maybe she keeps you waiting because she thinks she’s worth more than a night out around town? Maybe she’s on the phone to someone else who is keen on her and she’s weighing up her options. At his age this is a pretty important contract for Mowatt, he’s in his prime so he’s going to want to take his time and get the best deal he can however much he likes it here. If the club just cave in and break their wage structure then there’ll be a queue of players as Dane’s door wanting the same, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it wasn’t sorted until the summer.
But we did get what we wanted from the EU by telling them to f off just ask the fishing industry oh wait a minute maybe not
Tend to agree and I feel the longer it goes on the more likely that he will go just before the end of this transfer window for less than the club's present valuation leaving us no time to recruit an adequate replacement. Hope I am wrong but can't see it ending other way if recent years are owt to go on.
