Well, the UK Govt have been pretty risible but I've a bit of sympathy for them to be honest. The blame (even if that's the right term) surely rests with the English voting population.

We've known when choosing our Leaders exactly what they represent. Generally speaking, cuts in health care provision, a huge increase in the role of the private sector, a decimation of Social Care and a general hollowing out of public services. All in the name of having an extra 50p in our back pocket.

We pay third world taxation and expect 1st world public services. Anyone, who over the last 4 elections has voted for this and is now moaning should just shut up and go and sit in a corner. If you voted for our Leaders without ex pectin this, go and enroll in some education courses - while they are still there. Though you're likely to have to pay through the nose for them.

I've heard Elland Road but nothing in Sheffield but that would be good. Why are we having to wait for it though?

Yes but you're likely to catch swine fever while waiting for your vaccination.

No! The column showing them third was the cumulative total vaccinated. You can re-sort the table to show the relative position of various statistics by clicking on the header for each column. UK is definitely 3rd in the World for how many vaccinations have been administered. (how long that headline figure lasts I have no idea but EU is still having issues approving the Oxford vaccine and so is reliant on the two problematic ones(temperature sensitive for storage and transportation))

Given UK is now able to deploy it I suspect UK may well maintain the position in the table for some time yet.

Still, doubt it will stop the naysayers on here slating the Govt response as usual.

I don't think India have started vaccinating yet....they are though producing massive amounts of the Astra Zeneca vaccine.
