.. that 2nd half was awful. Did Mowatt actually have a touch?

3 league games. 0 goals scored and I can only remember 1 decent save in any of those game - Britain’s shot at 0-2 vs. Swansea.

Those subs’ were always going to come on, who else do we have? We’ve let Thomas and James go and they both need replacing.

Another suicidal January coming if Mowatt goes - a midfield of Kane and Palmer with no-one else to come in?

Mowatt was best of a bad bunch

 

We could’ve been beaten by 3 clear goals. Did there keeper make a genuine save, other than the potential own goal?

 

I thought we were good, their defence was just too good for us. I mean, we only lost to a penalty.

 

There ‘keeper wasn’t tested. Not had any ‘keeper been tested in the last 3 games - regardless of opposition.

We haven’t looked decent since Birmingham away.

 

Like who? Andre Gray on £70000 a week didn't do a thing. Troy Deeney on £65000 a week and the only thing he did was score a penalty that should have been saved.

That’s because the opposition were very good teams, although I’d say Brittain certainly tested the Swansea keeper at the weekend.

Other clubs being really strong due to having expensively assembled squads doesn’t necessarily mean we’re crap. Just not good enough to pose them enough real problems.

 

Powder puff attack I think. Their goalkeeper never had save to make. Mowatt played well in my opinion but Styles,Palmer and Chaplin ineffective. We simply are not good enough agains top teams and I don't know where our next goal is coming from....

We are a decent mid-table side, who simply aren't good enough against the top teams.

 

Got to agree Mowatt had a good game Palmer started ok but was anonymous second half and rightly subbed but I’m still waiting for Kane to have a impact.

Whilst we keep playing the same forward line it will not change
They have no idea how to work it between themselves
Abejeyo with his physique was probably good playing against 16 yr olds but now up against adults he is wanting in ball control not strength
Woodrowe had not been doing it for a while
Frieser totally out of his depth
Chaplin another not hacking it in championship
Midfield and defence good
Walton. i would prefer Collins a better all round keeper
I think this team will not have additions for rest of year

 

I thought we played well 2nd half without creating a lot, Mowatt played very well tonight i thought, maybe playing 2 up front and a number 10 to link the midfield with the forwards is the way...
