Woodrow, Chaplain, Morris to start. Woodrows not scoring but he’s still a pain in the arse to defenders, as is Chaplin. Morris holds the ball up well so helps the other two get further up the pitch. Frieser, Dike and Vic on the hour mark. Dike and Victor obviously big lads and Frieser for his energy.
I think he's doing the right thing by varying it - keep the opposition guessing. All 6 buy-in to the tactical plan and know exactly what to do. It's a wonderful problem have.
It's good they're being equally rotated. It doesn't bite if one of them has a quiet game they know the next half they play could be their day. Stops em' dwelling and keeps it all about the team. When it was just all on Woodrow's shoulders I think the team felt it if he had an off day. As a result we were looking at Adeboyejo to be the Messiah after his Derby goal. This way takes the pressure off.
Woodrow has scored 11 in 33 this season. He should start every game before Chaplin 3 in 31 and Adeboyejo 2 in 27. He's scored double the goals of those combined and had nearly half as many games to do it in.
I don't think it suits him being the main man. Morris and Dike will bring out the best in him but I trust in Val.
There is more to it than just goals though. Adeboyejo's chasing down led to Dike scoring his first goal for us. Stuff like that is just as important but he doesn't get a goal or even an assist for that effort.
