Think Reading and Cardiff might just finish ahead of us ... going to be an interesting end of season.
Armstrong missed in last minute, normally scores them,we had a good run of games going our way had to change,Cardiff look strong, think these mid table sides not gonna put up much fight with no crowds
It’s a bit different looking at results this season. Usually we’re looking at teams near the bottom who don’t win all that often, this season the teams we’re looking will probably win a lot. Cardiff going well. Will probably get in the playoffs.
Brum have stopped losing. Brum have Robbo back in favour. Robbo has assisted. Now Robbo has scored. It would be sooooooo Barnsley for the run to end to a Robbo inspired Brum side.
We could do with Reading dropping points soon! They’ve got tough fixtures near the end of the season - if we can get above them before those games then we’re in with a good shout of finishing above them! Cardiff’s form is worrying...
Six more points incoming this week for us. Birmingham are struggling horribly. Oddly against Huddersfield in the past few weeks Hourihane, Potts and now Roberts have all scored against them. They are home to Cardiff on Friday night so will hopefully help us out and we repay the favour the next day, but based on recent form of our old lads against them I expect to Moore to score.
4 goals for Cardiff, they're going great guns. Want to avoid a Welsh team until the play off final if possible.
Not exactly Carlsberg results were they? But if we win tomorrow and Bournemouth don't, we're in 6th and we still have a game in hand on a couple of teams around us. With Birmingham to come at home. What could possibly go wrong?
Don't forget the late run for the line by Luton, another win tonight. We don't want you to leave us behind
Nice to have a season of midtable obscurity, but it's rarely boring at Barnsley so I've a feeling we may be leaving you behind again tonight!
Taking points off Reading and Bournemouth (and winning our game in hand) will ultimately decide where we finish in my opinion. 6+ points from those 3 games would be huge. Less than 3 would make it difficult for us to catch Reading and Bournemouth I reckon.
I can't get me brain around any of this. This thread alone is bonkers... " Still in our hands..." "We could do with Reading dropping points..." "Cardiff’s form is worrying..." "Want to avoid a Welsh team until the play off final if possible." "If we win tomorrow and Bournemouth don't..." I'm all at sea. It's football, Jim, but not as we know it...
Don't forget The Massives are revving up for a late run. 42 points from their last 14 games would put them on 70. Still playoff hopefuls!
I disagree with you about Birmingham struggling horribly, last saturday they came from behind to win & last night they got a good away point , that seems decent form to me
Not really bothered by other teams' results yet. Which after two seasons of worrying about what Luton (x2), Sunderland, Portsmouth, Charlton (x2), Wigan and Hull results is quite refreshing. If I was supporting anybody from Derby, possibly even Blackburn down, I'd be grimacing at every goal that the bottom three score. Probably take more notice if we're still within a win of the top 6 after Easter.
