Considering I would have been at vast majority of games we’ve missed through covid I must say I’ve been quite happy to watch them on telly. I’ve missed my travelling companions, and those I regularly bump into for a chat or moan but until now it’s not really bothered me that much. I’ve got into a different match day routine and accepted the situation. That is until now. Suns out and two big games coming up. This is a special time when you’re still in with a shout of something with a handful of games to go. Potentially make or break for some. Oakwell would have seen a decent crowd on good Friday, and we’d have probably sold out for Luton on Monday. A long weekend to look forward to and enjoy in person, knowing two good results would really have us on our way to a playoff place.
Don`t want to get ahead of myself but just imagine what 6 points over Easter will do to get us all excited!!!
Think being able to watch the winter games in front of a warm fire on TV was great ... now the sun is coming out it's a different thing
That’s probably why I haven’t been bothered mate Always like the beginning and end of the season and the nice weather and we’re normally still involved at Easter, even if it’s sometimes a relegation scrap, mid tables not for us
Aye, this is the exciting bit of the season, but downside is there have to be some losers Thrills and spills for next few weeks and hopefully we’ll be in the playoffs - then just the matter of going through it all again
After so many games every few days it just feels like ages since we played - made worse by losing to you know who.
I’ll be honest it’s made me so sad not being at the games. I love my club and want to see them play live. I also love the time with my family at the games. This isn’t the same.
Especially if the three is against Reading as it will make our play off chances easier than the other way around.
Give me Altrincham away, in the freezing cold, with rain running down my face, over any game on ifollow. I've enjoyed being able to watch every game, but it's just not the same.
COVID football on TV has been like a buffet. I have struggled with the international break which feels like going cold turkey.
