He's definitely quicker than he get's credit for. On another note, how does their GK not get sent off for the foul when DK wins the ball at the edge of the box and gets wiped out?
I've just remembered that I've got a purple Orlando top from when I last visited (not a football top). I might have to dig it out for our next game in his honour.
What a guy he is. I would love to have him for years and if not, at least show our appreciation at Oakwell but I don’t think we’ll get either opportunity sadly. We can enjoy him now though I guess.
If it was clear there wouldn't be any debate. That there is proves it's not clear. I'm not saying you're wrong, just that it's not clear. I guess with all the replays I must have seen it a couple of dozen times or more and I still don't know.
Me neither. My first reaction was that it was a clear foul and a red, but having seen it from behind I think that the officials may have got it spot on. The Boro fans on their forum are similarly unsure. One thing I would say is that Boro's keeper was so bad that leaving him on the field may have done us a favour.
IMHO mate the view from behind the play clearly shows the keeper missing DK by about 6 inches. For me it definitely wasn’t a foul. When you weigh that view and actually any other angle you can see how DK dives in a very unnatural way for someone who has been clobbered or even clipped by the keeper. Im not saying DK dived on purpose, he was anticipating being cleaned up.
That's the view I'm leaning towards. As an aside, I get slightly irritated when commentators say stuff like "If the ref didn't give a foul, how come he wasn't booked for diving?" It's not a zero sum game. "No foul" does not autmatically mean "dive". Very far from it in fact.
that’s fair enough. Il say from my opinion then I thought it was clear ( from side on it looked a foul) The ref saw it clearly enough I guess, none of the other players even appealed as far as I saw.
