Had it on since 4:45pm. I’m already annoyed that about the Middlesbrough KO time.

You’re right about Woods and THAT shot. Cringeworthy

Would love for Rose to win another Major... he’s on fire today. As they say, you can’t win it on the 1st day but you can lose it. Great round of golf that. As we all know too well around Augusta, one or two misplaced shots & you can kiss your chances goodbye for another year. Very little room for errors.

He's seven under after 2 rounds. Carded a 72 in his second round. Players behind him were 4 shots better today. He needs an exceptional round and under par performance tomorrow if he's going to have any chance of winning.

Rose had a great back 9 yesterday to card even par. Plenty made moves whilst others failed to take advantage of a good front 9.
Big Bryson, Thomas and Speith all look threatening and seem to have figured out 2/3 of the approaches and greens. Harmon could be a good outside bet, had a good Players and his game is well suited to this course.

Had Spieth, Rose, and Matsuyama EW before play for a few pennies

all 3 go well around Augusta, might top up on Spieth as it will be hard for Rose to win wire to wire. If he can play the front 8 anything like a golfer though he could run away with it.

Agree with that, if Rose can stop dropping shots in the first 7 holes he’s got a real chance this year , Zalatoris looks good played really well in recent tournaments, could be a top ten , don’t know why I overlooked him

Spieth and Thomas going well, Mr MPE! Windy conditions today, I've heard! :)

Unlikely to be anyone below those on -4 Heart says Rose. Head says Spieth. But there are a few others it could easily be. Some of the youngsters are looking good. Was surprised about some of those who missed the cut especially Johnson.

Statistically I'd look at anyone within 4 shots going into today's 3rd round, so the top 12 really.

Rose did well yesterday after being +3 after 7 holes. He's not been playing too well (although importantly he's had a top 3 finish in one of his last three starts) and I half expected him to fade away. He still might do, but he's traditionally done well round Augusta, he's a major winner and it would be good to see another European win.

There's a good number of players without a major in that top 12, so there could be a surprise, but Speith and Thomas look well placed.

Heart says Rose, head says Speith. Outside bet, Brian Harman who's been playing well. Wind likely to be a factor today, should be good.

Weather for today looks interesting, those teeing off first could make some serious ground. After 2pm chance of thunderstorms and wind really gets up. Fleetwood could be that man he's due a monster round.

True, but he showed great resilience to card a 72. He had a great back 9. A lot of the big guns have missed the cut. It’s all to play for.

Great start from Rose, birdies at 1&2, moves to -9

Well that was painful watching Rose how he managed to hang in and keep in second place I’ve no idea. Absolutely superb golf from Matsuyama got to be odds on favourite now

5/6 favourite heading in to tomorrow.

Just had £10 on Justin Rose at 9/1 as I’ve literally no explanation for how he’s come out of that still tied for second and -7

After the start he made, I thought he would put a decent score together. He just never gained any momentum and just about hung in there, whilst other’s made their moves. Matsuyama played superb. If he has a good front 9 tomorrow, I reckon he could be out of site. Rosey needs to come out firing, Pars won’t be enough I’m afraid.

All depends on whether Matsuyama can hold it together. If he can shoot par or better it would require a round like his yesterday or Roses on Thursday to beat him. Could be interesting today or it could be dull if no one mounts a charge
