So white people shouldn't point out if someone makes a racist comment? Or explain anything if it isn't directly about their "group"?

No, no, no, no white gays can point out homophobia (but only on white gays obviously).

No that's just disagreement and the right thing to do. I see a lot of virtue signalling when people shut down the other instantly and leave no room for discussion. To me that's wrong. Stating you don't agree, listing the reasons why and asking why they think the way they do in opposition is different and more open than saying I dont agree with you, you're a scumbag, I dont even want to have the discussion etc. (and automatically labelling that person to alienate).

Virtue signalling - being decent and doing nice things
    Woke - caring about others.
Cancelled - writing columns in various newspapers complaining that someone on Twitter blocked you.

Reread my post and please point out where I’ve said that? I would support white people doing exactly that, so I’m struggling to understand which hoops you’ve jumped through to come to that conclusion?

Responding to the "white silence is violence" but apologies if I've misunderstood your point.

I think people should absolutely call out racism if they see it. However, to conflate not calling out racism with “violence”, or suggesting those who do not call it out are racist themselves, is nonsense.

I can see why someone not calling out clearly overt racism would lead to questions about their morals, but in my experience the usage of such language generally isn’t meant in the context of clearly overt racism. It’s generally directed at those who do not share the same opinion on what are often very complex social issues.

If someone knocked on my door and asked for a contribution to a worthy charity or asked me to put a poster up in my window, I might decline the invitation because I have other charities that I support and donate to on a regular basis. However, that doesn’t mean I’m not sympathetic to their cause.
I wouldn’t take kindly to that person then accusing me or being racist or transphobic. Indeed, I think it would be morally wrong for them to do so.

I think we must take something different from the slogan. I take it to mean that if you stay silent you are complicit in allowing racism to carry on, and the violence that accompanies it . A bit like turning a blind eye to it.

I think you have well and truly missed his point by focussing on a tiny part of what he said and absolutely dissecting it to another level.
