When two clubs meet each other at Wembley in recent seasons, they decorate each area according to each club. Be it badges, logos and associated imagery. Well, because we might end up there at the end of May, we’ve been asked for a suitable, popular chant that would adorn a wall next to our changing room, in text format. Between - ideally - 40 to 80 words in length. They’ve obviously asked all four play-off clubs. Sadly, I’m struggling to give them an answer. Because we aren’t the best club in terms of unique, original songs/chants. Most are pretty generic. Others are just repeating the same words. And so on. Hence asking the good ship BBS, what BFC chant would be most fitting for this? Cheers.
What about the Ronnie Moore song? It's very original Seriously, can't think of anything but then again I'm not a singer. It would be good it you could get 'Spectemur agendo' in there somewhere.
The obvious is, it's just like watching Brazil. However that might be a bit short for what you're looking for. I do think we need a song, which is our song. I quite liked the Bon Jovi one from a while ago. I used to sing it after we'd scored when we had it as our goal music. Every club seems to have one barring us. We do have Cocoon, but you can't sing it, like Stoke do we Delilah. I do like this one though that we sang under Stendel: Woke up this morning feeling fine Got Barnsley FC on my mind Ismael's got us playing the way that the Barnsley should {oh yeah} Something tells me I'm into something good!
She wore, she wore, she wore the red suspenders..... Okay maybe not. just go with “Its just like watching Brazil”
YOU ARE MY BARNSLEY .... MY ONLY BARNSLEY.... YOU MAKE ME 'APPPPY.... WHEN SKIES ARE GREY... Not "ours" per se...but...fùck em... That or Just Like Watching Brazil...
Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Red Army! Etc
Brazil! It's not like watching Brazil It's not like watching Brazil It's not like watching Brazil Repeat, sung with pride!
Isn't it a bit of a one hit wonder? Chesney Hawkes-esque? Can't believe someone hasn't suggested red suspenders.........
Serious note it can’t be anything else but “It’s just like watching Brazil” typing it like the whole chant would definitely fill that wall.
The (insert opposition here) sing, I don't know why, cos after they match, they're going to die! To the tune of Tom Harke...an early 80s classic
