They obviously don’t fancy their chances in the Championship if they’re already signing players for League One.

Is the God Squad stuff a gimmick? Genuine question because I've always thought he was a bit of a knob. ( Especially after his Luton promotion interview). He didn't exactly covert our arses n' turn the over cheek if memory serves me correctly.

I think that there are a lot of genuinely great things about social media. Especially when it comes to footballers and other role models who can sometimes seem very detached from the average person, social media gives us the chance to interact with them on a very human level. However, this can backfire when someone comes across as a bit of a wally on social media, but in actual fact they're not at all. I'll be honest from his interviews and some of the things he comes out with on Twitter, I honestly assumed that George was a complete and utter doughnut. However, I've been informed by a couple of people who've actually met him that nothing could be further from the truth, and that he's is a really lovely bloke. Reading that brought it home to me that even if we think we "know" someone from our brief interactions with them on the Internet, we really don't. I guess a case in point is that I know quite a few people on here in real life, and while some of them are quite similar to their online persona, many are completely different.

I reckon it’s his agent trying to cast the line out to approaches from other clubs....

Two memories of Moncur both games away Peterborough he ripped them a new one, clearly played like he had a point to prove. Turned to my son maybe worth hypnotising him to think we are playing them every week. The second Sunderland 1 nil up comes on late on went on one of those mazy runs that led to nowt then just stood there with hands on hips while players who had put in a full shift chased back ,I will not say what I turned to my son and said. All the talant in the world all down to attitude.

On the football front it's a shame his day wasn't very often at all and that he often looked spent after 45 mins. Clear had a lot of talent but not the ability to make the most it. Shame.

No, I think he's pretty serious about it.

Tolerance and respect are very important, and if it makes him a good or better person then fair dos. Bobby Hassell and Bruce Dyer are both bang into it, and are two of the nicest blokes you could ever wish to meet. But I read stuff like this and just think ‘what the fck?!’ Replace the word God with Unicorn in that interview, and everyone would be calling him a maniac. Someone at some point played an absolute blinder, coming up with the word ‘faith’. It just genuinely baffles me.

It's completely absurd from my point of view and flies in the face of rationality and hard evidence. However, I know plenty of highly intelligent people who do believe, and can put forward a pretty well constructed argument for why (along with many more who can't!). But in any case, if anyone with faith channels it into doing good things, whether bettering themselves or setting up community projects like Bruce has done, then I don't see a problem.

Ought to join Wycombe, there's be enough for a congregation then!. Haven't a clue what he's like as a person but I guess the parable of the talents wasn't his favourite story from the Bible!
