Think Windass is a half decent player. Would probably suit the press too.....

They will almost have zero choice but to follow our model.

Watch their tuna soaked spreadsheet throw up a £15m fluke wonder kid from Salisbury Town or similar as its first formula.

Can't help feeling they will always come up smelling of roses.

The players are not that daft. And Chansiri probably would welcome it. Eg One of the main conditions. even of administration. is players wages have to be covered in full. Some of these players I assume are on 5 figures pw.
Who would risk going for nothing and potentially be out of work, or accepting much less than they're on now, till the end of their contracts.?
    I suspect idle threats.
Or the players concerned are. eg, academy players on crap wages. Or as said. some senior players. out of contract at the end of june. Severing any ties to sign pre contracts with other clubs.
    Strange situation whatever.

They can leave start somewhere afresh and sue Wednesday for unpaid wages up until there final day of notice. Wednesday would probably go into administration and potentially vanish. Having to start from scratch. The Wednesday Plc FC on a random pitch somewhere in South Yorkshire.

Do you remember when he deliberately yanked Yiadom’s already dislocated shoulder to try to spark a reaction?

I'd imagine that whatever happened, the club would still be liable for the total value of the player's contract(unless them giving notice would be classed legally the same as said players requesting a transfer).

It's a complete mess, whatever happens, and morally the club should face further punishments for each player who terminated their contract this way. If not, clubs that are struggling financially will use it as a loophole to manipulate the rule to cheaply cut their wage bills. The admin rules had to to changed after a few clubs were using the admin process to gamble for a place in the Premier League, then wiping out the most of their debt and starting a fresh...

This is primitive cashflow management. He has 14 days to pay them after the second missed payment. He’ll pay on Day 14.

I’ve got clients (aka lovely people) that haven’t paid me for three months or more.

Giving notice ( leaving on your own volition) I would imagine absolves any monies owing from the club. The unpaid wages would absolve the players of any wrongdoing. I genuinely don’t see how they would benefit . The players that is, unless the club goes into liquidation.
Administration guarantees monies owed to players and other clubs eg transfer monies. It’s a stipulation of The efl. Not a legal requirement as I read it.
If not. I understand. The club will be expelled from the league.
