Would it be suprise if he chose anything different to what we have seen this season. Will it be a tactical masterpiece to guarantee his future for next season. What ever I just hope for a win.

I hope he isn't going "beam me up Scotty at half-time".

His choices are limited. What he gets out of the current squad in terms of attitude, grit and determination - is not

I'm not sure there's much more he can do, in terms of team selection. It's how he sets them up to go out and play, which will be the interesting thing. If we see more of the same on Saturday, that's just unforgivable for me. Players and staff. If they lose, they lose. But at least lose by trying to do something different.

Yes have to agree I love a team that tries even when they get beat. Ten Neil Redferns would do me.

Our best team with some fire in their bellies is more than enough.

A competent ref and a bit of luck would help.

Just needs to be brave and stop all this passing about at the back... Get Kane on the ball and get it into attacking positions earlier.

One thing I don’t get about sacking Collins - Disco has been there the whole time! So how’s he going to change everything in just a few days?

I’d understand it more if Warnock was straight in for the end of the season

Maybe we might see a bit more of the high press under Devaney, something we have done only in patches this season.

I think our best starting XI will be similar to what NC put out, but as it is a 5hit-or-bust game I just hope they play like lions and not crabs.

According to the data Conway's touches in attacking 3rd are higher than bobby's despite only playing at school level

Posted this in the wrong thread….

Got to be this formation for me. Take the defensive onus off the wing backs and have one of the deep lying midfielders make the back 3 a 4 and push the LCB or RCB out to full back when we’re defending. Phillips and McAtee in the gap between midfield and defence as well as pulling out wide to create an overload with either Cadden or O Keeffe. Also one going short to the winger on their side and the other arriving late in the box at the back post for early crosses.
    Simples.

To repeat a question (unanswered) in another thread, how many games as Devaney actually won whilst caretaker?

Feels like he's had more games than just three. But if it is only three doesn't suggest he can secure the win we need any more than Collins.
