Our first win in over a month & a clean sheet, despite a mounting injury list. The vast majority of our lads are playing at this level for the first time in their careers. There are bound to be a few hiccups on the way with performance levels, so can't we cut them a bit of slack, especially after all the success they've achieved during this calendar year, when things don't go according to plan? We're in the top half of the table, points and positional wise we're nearer to the Play Offs than the relegation spots and we still have a positive goal difference, despite having just been on a poor run. Well done to Hecky and the team.
I am doing! Thoroughly enjoyed the game and have a happy glow of satisfaction at a well deserved win. We were worth all 3 points. Made all the more satisfying we did it with a makeshift team.
Re: I am doing! I haven't got far from Griffin park in my attempts to enjoy it. Pub on the corner as friendly as ever.
Re: I am doing! I know they didn't get long but how did brown and Williams look? Did Williams get a good reception? Great another young lad promoted to seniors
Depleted team, but an opportunity for some to cause selection problems when others come back into the squad. Morsy was my MOM today, and also Bree and Jackson getting a bit of game time won't do them any harm. We even had a cameo from Williams! Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
Thoroughly enjoyed today's game despite the long journey back to Holmfirth. Nothing can spoil my good mood, even though someone drove into the back of me at the services on the way home! Nasty dent and scratches, but to add insult to injury he saw my scarf and said well at least Liverpool won today...!
Well said Kev, was a great team performance at Brentford with which was probably our weakest match day squad. The lads worked there socks off all game & credit to Hecky and team how we played. Great day out yesterday.
