Young hungry, proven scorer at this level, resale value, 6ft4 so different to what we have! Suppose it's just a difference of opinion but I think he's one of best striking options we've been linked with
Smith would be landmark signing imho. A big mobile forward, who can win ariel and physical battles, and the lad can play a bit too. Good touch, finish and movement in the box. Exactly what we need and proven at this level. With him, Winnall, Wilkinson and another striker to join them (e.g. simeon Jackson) we will be a force to be reckoned with and arguably best group of forwards we have had for some years. A Young determined, talented group who can win the physical battles, work hard off tge ball and have pace and goals in their lockers.
Smith is a forward with physical presence, ability to hold the ball up and win aerial battles. Despite being six foot odd, Wilkinson isn't a target man. He's got quick feet and wants the ball on the deck.

I hope he doesnt offer the same as wilkinson. Wilkinson for his size doesnt have a prescence at all and doesnt get stuck in.

I can't disclose that. But when looking at your previous list of offences, I noticed the last three warnings were all due to posts you'd posted calling thereev names. And you are just one more warning away from a permanent ban. So if these folk want you gone, they'll be reporting your next post that is in any way iffy.

For 400k if thats accurate you would expect to be buying a player that is the top of league 1 and pivotal in their team. The hot and cold comments dont sound too good, especially if were spending a considerable amount of money. That said if he is homesick down south maybe a move north would improve him further.
He's a former Wallsend Boys and Darlington player so, to him, Barnsley is still "down south" Might be able to tempt him but you wonder where that leaves the likes of Watkins and Wilkinson. Good to have strength in depth of course, but not good to have disillusioned players on the books.
