Amazing. We win one game in 9 and the happy clappers are shouting loud. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It was not the celebrating a win that was the problem , I dont think. It was more the assertion that everyone that wanted LJ out was a doom monger. Also I would still send the young loanees back.
I still would. One win in nine is hopefully the start of a massive improvement (it has to be or we are going down) but it certainly doesn't justify the manager's position or the recruitment strategy.
If we're not changing manager, which we aren't, then loans are one of the few things we can do to improve until January. A loan was the answer today.
It was a tongue in cheek comment I made based on the fact that Kevin Long got some hammer for signing for us in the week, and he goes on to have a solid debut and score the winning goal. Some of you need to get off your high horse and enjoy yourselves for a change. The football team we support has won a game of football. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Aye with 6 months of the season left. The bloke talks some ****, but Carlos Carvalhal has just made a very valid point, there's no point on focusing on what might happen in May, when you've got a game on Tuesday night to win. He then went on to say that Keiran Westwood made an important save when his side were losing 1-1. Sent from my SM-G900F using Tapatalk
Brilliant idea. Sign players of our own and have some long term planning instead of the short termism that's destroying our club. Can think of many players who have scored for us on debut, but I can't imagine there are many defenders who have done.
To be fair, it's the short term we need to address really. And at our disposal until January is loanees, academy players or freebies. We desperately needed an experienced head at centre half. Kevin Long appears to have provided that today. Aidy White seems to have made a difference too. Ivan Toney was unlucky not to score by all accounts, and I rate Isgrove and Pearson even if others dont.
