For me cheap away day tickets compared to the likes of Sheff wed Newcastle and villa who I imagine will be costly away trips tickets alone.
Going to every match thinking if we bring our 'A' game we'll win. It might not always be enough next season.
*ahem*....... Millwall? 3 stops and home.... if i didn't say anything or make eye contact! Though have Brentford, Fulham, QPR to compensate and Brighton and Reading aren't far either
-Cheap tickets -Swallowing up some home support with our fantastic away support -Proper football fans -Extra games (FA Cup first and second rounds and JPT)
I will miss us taking big numbers to small grounds like we have done all season. I won't miss teams like gillingham, millwall port vale ect bringing 200 fans to oakwell
Genuine clubs trying to genuinely make progress and genuinely survive without relying on parachute payments.
Championship will be alot harder but I'm glad we have got out of league 1 when we have as I think that will be tougher next year Sheff United may awaken with their new transfer policy, Bristol rovers are bank rolled and will spend big, Charlton have got rich owners and I think the likes of bradford and Oxford will also do well.
Going to places like Oldham in October with 300 other Reds when it's freezing out to watch us in the JPT.
The number of teams around the Manchetser area for close away trips. Cheap ticket prices. Winning away from home every fortnight. Being a big fish in a small pond. Our proportionately large away followings. Being able to defend the JPT. I wish we'd lost now!
Getting piss-wet sitting in a stand with no roof on. Losing to the likes of Fleetwood at home. Sitting in a tent while Crawley fans sing 'we want six'. The classic games at the keepmoat. The lovely policing at Chesterfield away.
Being one of the big fish in the pond but then Bournemouth probably felt the same 3 years ago . What will I miss about not being in League One next season (living in Oxfordshire)? Away against Oxford, Swindon, Bristol Rovers, MK Dons, Northampton,Walsall, Coventry, Wimbledon oh... and Millwall ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
