Not to drag an old topic up but does anyone know if I can find the poem thingy that is played before we play. It's sort of loosely based on Rudyard Kiplings 'If' poem but based on football.

Not the best explanation of it but not sure how to describe it.

 

Do you mean the 'some were born into it others were adopted' thing?

 

That's the one mate. I was racking my brains for some lyrics.

 

I've no idea what it's from or whether it's a made up piece for the club but hopefully somebody (that means you whitey) will be able to get the words for it
