Coach drivers spilling the beans about our past managers

    Occasionally I go on the club coaches. A lot of the drivers have done the actual team bus and have shared some fascinating stories on the journey down.


    Apparently Keith Hill was a right arse. Always winging that 'we should be going a different way' or 'why did you let him through?'. Notoriously rude to just about everyone.


    David Flitcroft is like Voldermort in the Gordons coach company it would seem. Utter his name and you'll trigger an angry rant from just about any of the drivers. He refused to let the coach staff eat with him & the players telling them to go elsewhere if they sat on the same table even though they've just taken them across the country. He's told a driver to shut up when they were nattering away. That's just scratching the surface too.


    In the 13/14 season there was a clear divide in the camp. Every week Micky Mellon would sit at the back of the coach with the same players while Wilson would sit at the front with the others. Rarely would there be communication between the two groups.


    That's all I've got, can't wait until they dish the dirt on our Lee

    To be fair, I don't need an exclusive from a coach driver, to work out that Keith Hill is "a right arse".
