I bet some will be looking up Brexit on a football stats website to see who he plays for. They'll be wondering what all the fuss is about.
I downloaded it the other day when it came out, loaded it up, went to play as Barnsley and saw we have 3m in the whole club, 1m transfer budget (which is fair enough) and a 5m debt. I should of taken the researcher job when I was offered it.
Seen same. amazing. Just looking through the team. Seems really hard to get anyone in of real quality. All the best players clearly went. Hourihanes okay to sign a new contract if you pay him THIRTY K a week. Of course Connor you're upset that I offered you to clubs.
All of it except the transfer budget which I can get my head round. We received 9m from John Stones' 47.5m move. We got 5m up front for Alfie. Even if Alfie's was 3m that's 12m in total. That wipes the 5m debt we had on the 2016 version with 7m left over. 3m in the club so 4m has just gone up in a puff of smoke?
Yeah Connor wanted between 18 and 25k to sign a new contract and there's no way I can afford that so not sure what to do about that.
Did you forget that the club would have to pay tax on the transfer fees recieved? Not sure of the amount, could be up to 40%
Who's out? Janko, Hourihane, White, Payne, Williams, Bree... Sure it's realistic. Just play a 2-1-3-2-1-1 formation, sign Frimpong as a holding midfielder, go and convince all those established premier league players to sign for Barnsley on £5k a week to be within the FFP parameters, and bobs your uncle, your auntie has ********, and Barnsley are kings of Europe.
No not just yet, just waiting for Aidy to pull up and leave me with just Cole for LB. Can't seem to find a LB that fits the way we do things.
Apparently Scotland have decided to leave Great Britain, which is pretty astonishing and would require a ****ing big moat. I wouldn't put it past Sturgeon but I think it's a bit extreme.
We'll have enough losses brought forward to offset any chargeable gains, and the tax would've only been 20% anyway.
