I would dearly love to be proved wrong but he has had a below per season for Yorkshire and poor recent form for England and cannot see how he justifies selection to face Bangladesh.

I agree... If he'd gone away and knocked runs for Yorkshire you could understand it but he hasn't.... Maybe they think he plays spin well and he's gone due to the wickets?

As weird as why he gets picked is why Brooks and Patterson with all they have achieved for us aren't ever in any of our three national teams. Think that Ansari will have a field day on a Bangladesh wicket so backed him at 6/5 in the Sky Bet request a bet section to get over 4.5 wickets in the match, helped by them giving me a fiver free bet.

He's a good player when he's in form. I suspect they may be playing him "in" against Bangladesh prior to rest of the winter tests.

He played himself "in" for 9 and then out.

Steven Finn is a terrible bowler and he gets picked regularly

So maddening how Rash and Woakes worked so hard to get England the lead and Finn has just p!ssed it away with two of the worst overs you could imagine.
