    Indeed.

Opportunity to show what he can do.

    Good luck lad.

Big step-up for him. Hope he enjoys himself. Brave decision from Heckingbottom and a good one in so far as it gives exactly the correct message to all those young lads. I can't help feeling in years gone by we'd have played someone out position rather than give someone younger a game.

Made up for him. He came to our q&a on Tuesday with Jacob Brown and seemed to be genuinely loving his time at Barnsley and talked about how much his game and fitness has improved at Barnsley.

He was playing college football not so long ago so he's come a long very quickly.

Much rather go down this route than shoe horning players into unfamiliar positions like years gone by.

    Good luck to him!

I like the fact that this was so unexpected they didn't even bother taking a special photo when everyone else got one (presumably at the beginning of the season)!

Can't link it because the image is too big, but he's the only one without a forward-facing photo on the team sheet.

    Centre mid.

Quite impressed for the step up he's made.

A little bit naive in positioning and tackling at times and I think I'm being over critical at that.

His passing looks to be quite impressive and at times he pulled a couple of crackers .

He can certainly be proud of himself for his debut put it that way.

Didn't look too out of place, a few of the quick passing moves broke down when the ball came to him, just didn't think quick enough but that will come with experience, Championship is obviously light years above U23 football.

Decent effort that went just over in the first half as well.

Congrats due to the fella and Hecky/Bobby for giving him the chance.

He will only get better learning off Hourihane and Morsy for next few months in training.

Hope we can get Moncur off the books permenantly in January. Although doesn't look like Peterborough want him.

That bad? Can't say I've been following his progress at all.

Couple of misplaced passes but every player is guilty of a couple every game, overall thought he blended in seamlessly and looked the part with comfort. Great confidence to strike the ball from range and looks relatively strong for a young 'un.

He had a couple of decent games, thought he was gods gift (actually), the dropped to bench, now not even in squad.

Needs to realise that he isn't a star.
