Good game. May I just ask what the **** your player was doing to give away the pen. Looked like a keeper trying to claw one out of the top corner Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
He'll be spoken to, I imagine. The handball created more danger than the cross was going to. Fortunately we have options at centre back and although Jackson has looked promising, I would imagine that this will hand the initiative back to Marc Roberts and Angus McDonald. Yer man Tammy Abraham is some player. I can see him doing for you in this league what Ashley Fletcher did for us in League One last season. Enjoy him - with a bit of luck maybe LeeJay can make him permanent for you.
Was a terrible decision by him. God knows what he was thinking. What was your take on the 3 potential red cards for your team today? One for the elbow and stamp on winnall, one for the off the ball elbow by Tomlin and one for the dangerous studs showing lunge on the keeper?
1. Wasn't an elbow or a stamp. Have a look at Gary O'Neil's tweets. Came down and landed on his head. 2. Don't try and say that's an elbow. Zzzzzzz 3. Two players going for the same ball. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Really do rate Tammy. Hasn't been on it for about 4 or 5 games now due to illness but hopefully getting back to his best. Think it's a 'enjoy it well it lasts' type of thing, he won't be here next season unless we get promoted, which is unlikely. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
1. It was an elbow, I watched it. It's what led to him being on the deck 2. Why did the referee call him over then? 3. He was going for it but was never going to get it and had his foot up with his studs showing. That isn't allowed.
1. It wasn't, look at O'Neil's tweets, he's most certainly not that type of player. I also watched it 2. a ref can call a player over to diffuse a situation. If the ref called it over and it had been an elbow a red would've been shown. If you instantly assume when a ref calls a player over an elbow has been thrown, you're quite simply wrong. 3. Again, two players think they can get a ball. It happens however many times in every football match. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Every player who makes a bad foul THINKS he can win the ball. It doesn't excuse a terrible, dangerous lunge though
Baffling. It's a shame really because the back 4 looked as good as they have all season today. Jackson then slipped for the 2nd goal; he's unfortunately made 2 errors today which has cost us two goals in an otherwise fine performance for a relatively rookie centre half. That's what's cost us most weeks when we've dropped points. On another day we might have taken another chance down the other end and won the game. We often need to score 3 as we tend to give 2 goals away. Not as much as we did under Lee Jay, but we still do fairly often. #TeamsLikeBarnsley
What you don't realise is that LJ is winging it . He did it with Oldham then us and now you . He's got the gift of the gab and a spin and slide flip chart but little else . You'll soon wake up to it !
I've read a few comments on their forums regarding his formations. He'll be under a bit more scrutiny once they have a bit of a bad run. 1 up top will be the first thing the fans jump on. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
He's doing one hell of a job at winging it. The blokes come in, saved us from relegation playing good football. Signed top young players, getting the respect from managers at top clubs, and then continued to improve us, to a point where we are in play off contention. In less than one year, from relegation favourites to promotion contenders, with a stupidly young squad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The club made a huge profit in the summer transfer window. If you get your scouting right it pays off eventually. We made over 20 million. We spent just under 10 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
