Can't do wi it. Just back from't granddaughters and she's going mad for trick or treat. She dunt realize that there is more important stuff to do with bunfire neet comin. First to do is to get ready for mischievous neet-protecting the bunfire is the main thing and guards have to be in place every neet while others in the gang go off mischieving. And of course other gangs bunfires need raiding! And then bunfire neet itself! Kids these days........they know nowt!!!!!

This year I boarded up my windows and spray painted 'paedo scum' on my front door.

    Had nobody round all night.

Was out and got a call they (older teenagers) were trying to kick door down when she didn't answer door as she literally got in from work. I'd have driven over them had I been there. Then reversed to make sure.

Bunny wood for me as well, and mischief night - Halloween celebration/ trick or treat is an American import and I preferred our old traditions.

"Bon Fire" - is Einstein from Pogmoor or some other posh area? possibly having a glaarse of wine whilst watching the festivities

I painted my wellies silver and left them at the front door. Nobody came because they thought Gary Glitter lived here.

    Commercialised beyond belief.

Used to be just a bit of harmless fun when I were a lad, knocking on doors and running away, tipping people's bins over, jumpers for goalposts......

Does anyone remember guns made out of a bit of bent tubing, a banger and a marble? Some people went a bit too far.
