If ticket prices are sensible then we could still get a full (ish) house!! The sky money should offset the difference in money lost!! Maybe do another £15 offer like the Forest game, lets fill the ground for sky! People are skint after Xmas as well! Plenty of money will be made over this period as we have home games on boxing day and new years eve. We will sell out Rotherham away and take a good following to Fulham giving us a good % of the away ticket sales! FA Cup 3rd round and maybe a 4th round as well in January!
I'm not sure we actually get any extra money from it. I think each team is given an equal amount from TV rights throughout the season now, regardless of how many times you're ont box.
But what about the fact that they charged extortionate amounts for tickets at their ground? We can't let them have 6,000 tickets at a cheap rate surely? I would do exactly what they did to us. A pitiful number of tickets and tuck then upstairs in the old west stand. No comfort and a restricted view. Then sell the north stand out to home fans at £10 for adults and £5 concessions. Would be marvellous seeing both ends of the ground wearing red.
Great idea exactly what we should do. A* tickets for away fans stuck in the half of the west stand and both goals full of home fans for a tenner. Let's show them that two can do what they did and that we've not forgot. Shame another home game has fallen to TV coverage though rather than away ones.
It should be £42 on the day for The Champions Of Yor-op's fans. Bleed them. Then bleed them some more.
This was the one primed for A* so with Leeds bringing 5000 might work out well for us in cash. Flexi tickets still exist
It would be nice but don't think we can do that as the west stand does not have disabled facilities. We could just give them the north stand and make it 10 quid for home fans with a bfc online ticket account same as what Huddersfield did to us think they charged 5er though.
Im amazed and I would have thought they would have tried getting us on the early kick off but instead let everyone drink all day then go football.... be mayhem in tarn.
Do you not have to charge the match day ticket home fans and the away fans the same seat price? Does the online offer get around this rule?
They must be ok with it as they will have been consulted before Sky announced it. Seems strange after they wouldn't let us play Sheff Utd on an evening not so long ago
When we have a local derby at home not on TV police move it to dinnertime. When 6000 Leeds fans can arrive 3-4 hours in advance, get tanked up and walk back in the dark for train home with thousands of home fans around its OK as it's on Sky Sports. Going to be absolutely bedlam from midday possibly until the early hours of the morning if away fans have a night out here. Town will look like a place to avoid at all costs especially for shoppers.
