Been mentioned on here before, but if we're looking for a striker in January we've got to be looking at him. 11 goals already this season; scored more than half of Grimsby's league goals this term. Also, he's a big physical presence so offers something different to our other strikers so if we need to go 1 up front, we can do so with him. Only 23 as well

Maybe Barnsley could offer Tutton in the deal. Interesting to see him doing well with Jackson up front.

Akinde doing well too. Similar type of player, although a lot older. Strange to think he went all way down to alfreton's level a few years ago.

Every club in the championship will be monitering him so a bidding war will probably ensue. In other words we got no chance.

Yeah I mentioned Bogle about a month ago.

He's certainly hit the ground running in league 2 and fits the profile.

Why you think Tutton and Jackson are doing well there? From what I can see they have barely scored and don't always play. If they aren't doing it there they have no chance of breaking into our team.

Is Hemsie not seeking to offload?

Tutton yes. I think K Jackson's got things to offer. Pace is something we need in our team and he's the quickest in the squad

Gotta agree with Hemsy here, pace is a valauble asset to any side, Tuton doesn't look that quick and he's alot older than Jackson

Yes Akinde's also a good player but I think given that he's 27 we're very unlikely to look at him

I think the problem perhaps for Tuton and Jackson is that Bogle is obviously the key man so it's difficult for both of them to break into the team

Sometimes a club just doesn't suit a player so whilst Jackson seems to be doing well, Tuton isn't playing much so it wouldn't surprise me if we recalled Tuton and sent him somewhere else on loan before making a decision on his future in the summer

Payne will hopefully be back soon too. What I've seen so far of him I like. Not the lightening pace of Armstrong but lots of power. What do we reckon the chances of Armstrong remaining here? Janko played in the week I think so his return potentially gives us the option of Watkins up front too.

Heard from a very reliable source that we will not be after Bogle as it's felt that he would not be able to make the step up to any higher than League One.

Never know unless you try. We've got plenty of players who have stepped up 2 or 3 leagues and most of them are doing pretty well!

First goals since September I'd say the jury us still out.

I agree, think he looks like he could be worth a punt, but people who know far more than I do disagree!

Well fair enough mate. It was only a suggestion I'm certainly not a scouting expert! :p

We've already got Stefan Payne, on his way back soon hopefully. Isn't Bogle a similar player?

I also thought that but just threw Bogle's name into the ring!
