Because he needs an advisor to help him out as others eye his progress with us according to Alan Nixon in Sun On Sunday.
More I read of Nixon the more I think he's a stirring lovely person Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
my other half reckons Hecky will be the next Wednesday manager. Told him Hecky is one of us and he wouldn't do that to us. At least I hope not .....
If they go up to the prem....... and they come knocking for him then I reckon he would be off like a shot.....unless of course we went up with them too. But he is a Tarn fan through and through so who knows https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_Heckingbottom wiki says he was a Season ticket holder with us, so his loyalties from his roots are with us. He did have a couple of seasons with Wednesday and 4 with us as a player. But its us who have given him massive start into the management/coaching world. I would not at all blame him if he went to try his hand in the premier league I just hope its not with Wednesday. But for what he has helped to achieve so far I for one will always be eternally grateful to him as I am with Danny Wilson.
It could never happen, I would lose all faith in mankind, I'd stop watching football, I'd rather my missus run off with my best mate, I'd rather become a vegetarian, I'd rather give my wages to the smack heads in the town centre you get the idea. What a terrible thought hecky doing a Danny Wilson, which should be enough of a reason for hecky not to leave.
oh really https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fNkniZU4VsA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W25_jgiY51I simples
Re: oh really He hasn't even been our head coach 12 months wouldn't be one of our own if he ****ed off to wednesday especially at the difficult time off the field at the minute .... Nixon is mixing stuff as always
His mate Brian Howard is an agent- He'd only need to make a quick call to him, so It's probably ****** or summert.
At the end of the day when you embark on a new career you want to progress as far you can, and earn as much as you can, loyalty only extends so far. I think it's a bit premature to be talking about Hecky leaving but lets say in 3/4 years we've consistently finished around lower mid-table in this league (which lets be honest is something of an over-achievement) then Hecky will probably fancy a new challenge and due to the fickle nature of football fans we'll probably get a bit bored of that as well. The bloke will go far, tells it how it is, doesn't use these meaningless buzzwords and I bet the only time he's opened PowerPoint is by accident! Could potentially be an English manager with a solid CV that isn't backed up by a ridiculous amount of money like Eddie Howe.
Can't see anybody better being after him tbh not that I don't rate him but he's only been in the job 2 minutes , another season or 2 mebbe
Re: His mate Brian Howard is an agent- If Hecky is looking for an agent, then he's thinking ahead and money talks.
Apparently, as a player, he had told Wednesday he was signing a new contract with them, when we approached him. He turned round and signed for us. It was a no-brainier.
You can tell it's the international break, and a quiet news week for the top two tiers. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
