Funnily enough, we have someone coming this evening to install vertical blackout blinds for our french windows. Costing about £118. Independent supplier based in North Sheffield. I'll let you know how it goes.
Just done all mine in our house. Had a quote for em supplying and fitting for 6 windows and it was just shy of £700. Decided to order off tinter, made to measure, Blinds2go. Got them all for £320, fitted em myself. It took just over 3 hours to fit the lot. Not hard at all and nearly a 400 knicker saving. Defo would recommend if you fancy saving a bit of brass but not compromising on quality.
Always used Astra Blinds on Barnsley Road in South Elmsall (next to the Post Office) as it is 5 minutes walk from us and they have always been quick and reliable, and good quality. Not sure how their prices compare with others, but they seem reasonable. Depends if you are anywhere near South Elmsall I suppose.
Pleased with the blinds we've just had fitted today. £118 for vertical blackout on sliding doors, and a roller on a small window. Had a huge choice of colours and options. The guy was here an hour and a half, and left no mess. Dean 0798093118 . His wife does curtains and other furnishings. He does travel to Barnsley for jobs, if that's where you're based.
