To be honest I am past caring. It doesn't matter who gets the job they have always underachieved since Sir Bobby Robson was in charge Southgate has never achieved very much as a manager so he will fit right in
Wouldn't give him the job in a million years but any manager will struggle when they have to pick talentless no marks like Henderson and Wilshite.
Just out of interest Conan - if it was a choice between Southgate, Flicker, Hill or Johnson, whom would you give the job to?
agree Dave however it has to be said ...... that Venables did a decent job in the 90's. Then his alleged financial dealings got him ousted. Sam Allardyce may have done well had he too not have **** on his own doorstep. The more you learn about football the more you get disillusioned with it. Then again is there any sport that's not corrupt.
