A shocking first half performance, really don't know what he brings to this side!
Hope he steps it up for the 2nd half!!

Very poor first half. Improved in the second. I think Hammill has to start against Forest. He loves a televised game.

He's due a start now. Kent isn't cutting it so perhaps he needs a rest

Kents been poor for most of the season imo. Really don't know how he is getting a game before hammill. I'd drop winnall for bradshaw next Friday too.

Fir Friday I'd be lining up like this

    Davies
    Bree roberts Jackson yiadom

    Hammill morsy hourihane Williams

    Watkins Bradshaw

Subs: Townsend, MacDonald, winnall, Kent, Armstrong, Janko, Scowen

The same armstrong who almost made a goal all by him self. He was scaring the wigan defenders to death with his pace always wanted the ball and tried to turn a man. He was the better of the two for me winnall had a poor game imo.

He did. When he closed down for a change and was unlucky for it not to drop into the top corner.

So you would agree armstrong was the better of the front two today? Although I can't say I'm struck on the winnall/armstrong partnership.

Do we not think Ryan Kent is playing from the start because its in his contract, don,t get me wrong hes not a bad player, reminds me of when Adam was here in his first loan spell, but IMO he was on for too long today , but what constraints is the management team working under ?

My understanding is that the more he plays the less he costs us. If we are basing selection on that we have a big problem

If he's picked to start, how long does he have to play in order to satisfy the terms of his "must play" contract?

It seems to be 75 mins, if today is owt to go by.

Poor today. Not sure how he keeps getting selected. A young lad learning the game and may develop into a good player at some point. Not sure we can afford to carry him until that happens though.

True but Winnall also did almost exactly the same thing in the 2nd half as well and got cynically dragged down
