That performance was devoid of everything that we've stood for so far this season.

    Very disappointed.

No it wasn't, There was plenty of effort and endeavour in todays performance, just less creativity than usual. We had a few chances and plenty of attacks that lacked a decent final ball.
Disapointing result yes, probably our worst home performace, but to say that it was devoid of everything that we,ve stood so far this season is was ott, Indeed, utter tosh.

I said it would finish nil-nil at about eight minutes past three. I think their keeper made his first "save' at ten past five.

If that's your definition of endeavour then you are very easily pleased.

I think we worked hard as usual but what worried me was the re-emergence of tip tap passing seemingly at all costs

Endeavour in my definition is to keep trying and working hard which is what happened. I've already mentioned about creativity, so What you think of my interpretation of endeavour appears to be ******. You must be a right miserable and negative individual to predict at such an early stage in the game that it's going to be nil nil. I certainly didn' t see anything at that early stage to suggest a nil nil. I never thought there was going to be many goals today but I remained optimistic of a win.

How does thinning a game will end 0-0 make me miserable?

If someone predicts five all does that make them happy go lucky?

Reading the op makes makes you sound like a miserable so and so. Oh, and listening to you on P&G.
So did did you think it would be nil nil before the game, You mentioned after 8 Minutes which makes me think you hadn't even given the game a chance to get going before your prediction.
