I've noticed that the speed limit has been upped from 50mph to 60mph northbound. Is this a sign of things to come?

Yep...some time in 2026 we will be allowed to trqvel at 70mph.

Hope you've noticed that the whole of the Barnsley section (35a to 39) has missed out on all this upgrade :nails:

All down to an objection from Barnsley Tourist Board in order that drivers will slow down in order to take in the beauty of our scenery.
