Out for the season with a tear to his anterior cruciate ligament, apparently.

He's expected to return to Liverpool, cutting short his season-long loan spell.

Wow thats bad news for him. It seemed all he did was miskick the ball very unlucky if he has done his ACL with that. Though it did look like he had done serious damage at the time

As much as Jussi Jääskeläinen has been good in his time, I think they will struggle with a 41 year old keeper until they can bring someone in for January, so expect them to stay around (probably in) the relegation spots. I mean he was on the pitch two minutes before he was so knackered he was taking forever with goal kicks.....

Very unlucky for Bogdan to get such a serious injury from a freak situation.

My last ever act on an 11 a side football pitch was taking a free kick. As I kicked the ball I felt like someone has shot me just above my knee. I'd completely ruptured the front of my thigh. Torn right off the tendon.

    All from kicking a ball.

Feel for him. Major injury from absolutely nothing really. My 15 year old lad missed 8 months football last season - he ripped the tendon and a piece of bone the size of a 50p piece from his hip (avulsion fracture) when striking a volley. Thought a sniper had hit him.

Isn't the emergency loan window open for keepers?

I know the rules have changed but I'm sure that you can still sign a keeper up to the end of this month iirc.

It's not really an emergency as their reserve keeper should be more than adequate. If something happens to him as well then fair enough.
