FAO WHITEY (YTBFC) - Ponty end music/tannoy

Hi mate, can you pass this on....Can the tannoy/music be turned up in the ponty end for tomorrow night, earlier this season it had been really good, but it's gone backwards again recently! Last Saturday it was as low as it's ever been, I literally couldn't hear anything, god knows what would happen in an emergency. Lets hope for a great atmosphere under the lights tomorrow with some louder pre-match music! Can we also have the intro of timerider back, it just seems to come on now rather than building into it

 

I get the impression it was broken on Saturday. I could hear the east stand tannoy and I sit on the West Stand Side of the Ponte.

yeah was like only half the speakers working.

 

I couldnt hear a thing the announcer was saying either. Although I do like Insomnia, I personally prefer Timerider as entrance music. I just can't think of another tune to replace it if the time comes. There's loads that spring to mind but they're used by 1000 other clubs

 

Same here. Couldn't hear anything in the Ponte End !

 

I can hear something so the volume is ok. But what comes out is an unintelligible, garbled mess. As someone else has said it's a serious Health and Safety issue because any emergency announcement would go unheard.

 

I enjoyed the 'All of the Lights' song during the delay getting the second half underway due to floodlight problems! Gave me a good giggle.

 

Couldn't hear owt in West Stand Satdi.

The whole system needs upgrading. Makes all these great video packages pointless because you can't make out a thing!

Fair points, but I think this issue is fast becoming the new TVs in East Stand concourse/bird crap on seats.

 

Perhaps if not for the complaints around safety, it is a valid point that important safety messages couldn't be heard.

 

Reight. Just finished work. As far as I'm aware the issue with volume levels is being looked into.

Regards Timerider, it's still played. All other songs played are songs requested by fans.

Must admit, the video's put together are brilliant....it's just a shame I have to squint my eyes from the ponty end to see them on the new screen, and I have decent eyesight. The new screen is so much better than the last one, but it just needed to be 2 or 3 times as big as it is.
