Stalhrost has now got the flag and will be taking it to Oakwell this afternoon.

It will be laid over the end block of the East Stand Lower - eventually, after it's done a bit of crowd surfing.

I suggest we do this 30 minutes before kickoff on the Ponty End. Stahlrost sits in the East Stand so I'm going to need some help to get it ready to surf....

We should start it near the corner with the West Stand, take it across the Ponty and then pass it on to Stalhrost in the East Stand to surf it down to the other end.

7:15 you mean. Would be better in the North Stand so it's not stuck in a corner and is more prominent. Easier for all our fans to see as well instead of being hidden away.

Wants to be five mins before mate, so the cameras get it.

I'd say the chances of getting the crowd to pass it in the required direction are slim, so it'll need someone to go and take it from wherever it is round to it's designated home.

As others have said. When the players come out. I'd start it in the corner of the Ponty nearest the West Stand, and it should then naturally move across towards the East Lower.

I agree but the flag needs to be unpacked and positioned ready to surf at about 7:30 so I think volunteers should be there at 7:15.

When the flag reaches where it's planned to be I'm sure the club will allow a couple of our fans to pin it down to seats in the north stand because it's not like Forest are going to fill it so be plenty of room the other side of the segregation netting where all our fans no matter where they sit can see it perfectly. Where it's planned to be loads of fans won't see it when it's in position. Over a grand for a flag it should be in the best possible place.

Point taken, we'll have to see.

Obviously when it passes from the Ponty into the East Stand we'll be relying on cooperation from the stewards anyway.

Is there any more support for it going in the North Stand?

Bearing in mind the fact that I only have permission from the club to put it at the end of the East Stand.

Personally, I'd prefer it in the East Stand even though I wouldn't be able to see it there. Photograph/camera wise the East is the most photogenic stand and I think it should be next to home fans not in the same stand as away.
