Just heard that he's back at Wigan on the coaching staff since Caldwell left. Anyone know if it's true
He's only following the age old doctor -> footballer -> copper -> forensics guy -> coach career path. We could have a sweepstake on his next career move. Looking at the pattern my guess is fisherman.
Hard to see him giving up the Van der Valk lifestyle for some freezing mornings on Wigan's training pitch.
He must have taken his school careers Kudos results too literally. If only I'd followed the computers advice and become a fish farm manager. It recommended becoming that or a barrister. God knows what combination of answers I gave that threw up those two career paths.
When I was leaving the RAF, and attending a number of resettlement courses and briefings, I did one of those computer generated future career exercises. Having spent all of my life in various types of admin jobs it came up with a great future plan: train driver! Now how on earth did it know about my boyhood dream PS I didn't take the robot's advice, sadly.....
