Man Utd assistant says the team is playing well but not taking their opportunities. I think Barnsley are in the same position, not happening.
Yet if we had won we would have been around 9 th in league. We will come good , what's comes round goes around.

Goals change games, and whilst we've scored and not held on to our lead in a few games, there have been other games when we've had plenty of the ball and little goal threat.

I think that will change for the better when Paynes back in the squad.

I'm baffled by this. Only Newcastle and Forest have scored more goals than us, so we're obviously creating a hatful of chances and converting some of them. I agree we're missing a lot, so God only knows where we'd be if we finished a few more.

It's the goals against that's the problem. Only 4 teams have conceded more - Rotherham, Forest, Cardiff and Norwich.

It's fine lines in football - if we scored the odd goal more and conceded the odd goal less, we'd be in a totally different position.

A few games that come to mind where we struggled in the final third are Brighton and leeds away, and Newcastle and Reading at home.

Some good teams there, granted, but Brightons first goal came from one of our attacks that had broken down from overplaying.

Not really a moan, just feel a need for that bit of something different so we can mix it up a bit.

Like you said on friday mate, let's hope that it was "one of those games" and we go on keep a few clean sheets.

All teams miss chances. In the recent game against Wigan that we dominated they missed the two best chances.

I suspect we have taken a better than average percentage of ours as for Man U looks like a straw being clutched to me.
