Wonder what's caused that. Seemed as though he was smartly planning for next season judging by his interviews. Maybe it's the fact that he's resigned to relegation with over half a season left, but let's be fair, they're not getting out of it.

Surprising - must be a reason but nothing much can have changed in the 5 games he has been in charge. I cant see any way for them to avoid relegation regardless of who is in charge , and it was really the same when Jacket too over so something must have changed behind the scenes or Jacket and the owner have a different take on the way forward

If he was on a 3 year deal, he was obviously looking beyond relegation or survival this season.

Sometimes not right there for him to walk away from a contract.

Odd, managers hardly ever resign nowdays especially ones on a 3year deal. Something must have happened behind the scenes or he has had 2nd thoughts and doesn't want the relegation on his c.v so he has decided to jackett in.

Any decent manager must have rocks in their head to take that job on.

When we were in for Bradshaw earlier this year, a Rotherham fan on twitter couldn't understand why he would choose "tinpot Barnsley" over them.

    Better our bench than theirs

Sounds similar to when Mark Robins left Barnsley.
