Local, hated rivals who are a mere four points ahead of us and who we have yet to play at home !
I can't get my head around this one simple fact.

They sold to our hated rivals !

I trusted them when they said that no player would be sold.
I trusted them when they said that out of contract players such as Conor and Sam would only go for silly money in this window.
I trusted them when they said that their importance to us was worth more than selling them before the season end.
I trusted them when they said that they would stay until the season end as they were vital to our progression.

What a fool I am, I can see that now, even as I'm writing this.

    I trusted them.
We were all in this together.
    We were all as one.
    We had something special.
it's this betrayal of trust that I'm finding so hard to come to terms with.

Sam Winnall pointed to the sky and held up a black armband in the memory of Norman Rimmington. Now he does the dirty on us on the day of his funeral.

    Sam Winnall. Judas.
