I've been reliably informed by someone who is better than me at it, that not one BFC player has wished Sam Winnall luck.

    Too busy? Instructions?

After the various things I've heard today, I'm not that surprised.

Don't get me wrong, I liked him, I am grateful for his input, and I'm disappointed he's gone, but when a player wants to leave, it is disruptive. Move on.

Probably not great that Roberts liked this tweet? :(

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en-gb"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Barnsley only have themselves to blame if hourihane goes. Not him or other clubs!</p>&mdash; Callum Lee (@C91lee) <a href="https://twitter.com/C91lee/status/819692829031202818">12 January 2017</a></blockquote>
    <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

He's also liked a few tweets by people saying that they want him to be captain.

Josh also liked a tweet saying 'If the rumours are true, then surely are new captain should be @Jscowen6'

    Not looking good.

Think the fact Robbo has liked tweet saying Connor would have signed a contract, and others would then have stayed, is quite interesting.

Not saying it proves owt. Just interesting.

I love Robbo as a player, but surely a lad not long since plucked out of non league by us hasnt already developed the footballer's sense of entitlement?

I think people may be reading too much into what players 'like' on twitter. If they 'like' something they don't necessarily like it; just want to bookmark it

Incidentally Roberts also liked a tweet saying 'Diego Costa to Barnsley'. So presumably that's happening. Replacing Winnall. I'm being told by a very reliable source it's going to be announced on Monday. £5k a week apparently

I do not blame Sam Winnall one bit.
He clearly went for the money
The people to blame here are the people in authority at the club - i.e. directors

You conveniently forgot the sarcastic face that accompanied the tweet.

Are you trying to break a world record for the most boring repetitive poster because so far your doing a cracking job, oh by the way if you'd actual have the common sense to come out of your tunnel visioned point of view you would know that Winnall has forced a move out of the club for himself

Don't read anything into what a player likes.

I imagine they've liked it just to make it quicker to have a read of all the replies later on

Oh, so he's not signing? Shame. Hecky out!

My point was that players like loads of stuff. The 'Marc Roberts for next captain' stuff probably means Roberts, being a Barnsley lad I'm sure would love to be next Barnsley captain, it doesn't necessarily mean he knows he'll be captain from next week: it's a possibility but not definite
