Another one like LJ, talks a good game but ultimately when it comes to doing the job hasn't got a clue!!

although we had that amazing escape culminating at the Huddersfield love in.... I now look back on Flickr's words and having heard what he's said elsewhere.... and just get the feel he's not too bright. could be the accent, but take the emotion out of the escape, and he' just quite empty.

That he failed so spectacularly at Bury with overextended resources... I'm struggling to see how that makes him a good candidate to technically bring through the next generation into the international fold.

There's some special Human beings in that England 21 squad.

As great as that season was I fecking hated flicker. Much preferred Keith Hill. People moaned about not being able to listen to Keith but I could. Flicker on the other hand just waffled absolute fecking boring knackers about playing with kids in back garden and ***** like that. I honest despised the bloke lol.

Didn't help that out of desperation to get us to stop up he stumbled up on a formula to get the best out of our limited players and finish the season with promotion form. Then decided the next season that our limited players had suddenly turned into fecking Barcelona and went back to tip tap football that they obviously couldn't play and got us relegated

Someone must have the patience of a saint to spend four hours listening to Flicker's endless stream of consciousness!

The average young English player is overpaid and overrated. There's nowt they'll like more than being told they are special human beings.

In 4 hours he must have said the word synergy at least 300 times.

I've said this before and I'll say it again. I've met both DF and KH. KH was an arrogant so and so. Flicker was a genuinely nice, sincere bloke - spoke to him for ages on the pitch at Peterborough too on the occasion of his first match as caretaker manager.

Others no doubt will say differently, but I'll defend Flicker. Pity his second season didn't work out.

If your template for the job is Gareth Southgate, I reckon that 'Flicker' has got an excellent chance of landing the role.
