I left conor out as we shouldn't need him for blackpool the leeds game is more important. Unless we get a offer we cannot turn down for him tomorrow

Lionel Blair; Les Dawson, Tommy Cannon, Bobby Ball, Ken Dodd; Tony Christie, Peter Kay, Paddy McGuinness, George Formby; Bernard Manning, Roy Chubby Brown.

I've gone for a bit of blue in attack, some observational comedy in midfield to link that together and a couple of entertainers out wide. Bit worried about Lionel in goal but he's good on his feet.

I'd put Christine Talbot off Calendar News in nets, coz that lass IS a keeper.

Surely if you stick cannon and ball in the net... we can have Lionel Blair dancing down the wing... and have an extra player on the pitch... I was thinking Bob carolgees and spit the dog!....

Played 90 today though (and scored). But I agree. Seen every home 23s game and he looks special. Has everything in his locker.

I think if we get him in he could surprise a few.

The way we play is a strikers dream. As Winnall has found. Although a lot of that attributes to Conor.

Agree though Brown along with Palmer have stood out for me.

Edit - by strikers dream I mean if you're inform and confident willing to gamble you should get goals or at least chances.

Not been excited like this over an Academy striker before. I know Rose and Clark had their moments, but Jacob has everything. Touch, strength, pace, finishes off both feet. Just needs experience now. Love to see him in against Blackpool. Lovely lad too.

Not according to a Weds fan on twitter. Apparently Conor needed Winnall rather than the other way around as our loss to Fulham proved.

Rubbish! You prefer Bernard Manning to Julian Clary? Manning doesn't overlap!

    Clueless some fans

We'd be camped in their half with Clary. Maybe you're right.

Id have gone for Duncan Norvil on the wing ....give him the ball and it would be a case of chase me. In goal id have gone for a little bit more experience.....columbo....nothing ever got past him....

Most surprizing thing I've found out these last days isn't any of the rumours and shock departures no, the most surprizing news is, that I'm not the only one on her with a crush for Christine
