Just putting it out there? Managerial days probably over but vast experience over the years and must have plenty of contacts and knowledge of contracts.

No, Director of football suggests too much input on the playing /coaching side of things and possibly team selection. Hecky's quite adept at that already and may see this appointment as an interference/intrusion on his role.

As if Danny Wilson spent his time searching through the minutiae of legal contracts, working out what each individual clause meant and what the implications were...........purrrrlease!!

He could bring Chris Morgan and vile, misogynistic (but entirely innocent as demonstrated in court) Ched Evans with him.

Ian Huntley must be due out soon.

Danny looked out of touch with the modern game in his second spell. We shouldn't let his huge reputation with us be tarnished further.

If Ipswich lose at Lincoln this evening another Reds legend could well be seeking employment. A move "upstairs" at his home town club could appeal to Big Mick.

This would be a wise move, not that I am hoping Mick loses his job.
