Aye, let's see if some tiny kids can lift the ball high and long enough from 18 yards. Ooh look. They didn't manage it.

Come on BFC give them at least a chance.

Embarrassing wasn't it? I'm hoping that the explanation is that they were supposed to be doing the Tyke's Target Challenge (which didn't happen for some reason) so they let them do that instead. It's much more fun when it's adults as they have more of a chance and it's fun laughing at them. No idea why they choose kids for it at times.

Yep we couldn't believe what we were seeing. When the little uns used to do pen shoot out they would let them come close. It seemed almost cruel.

Hit it 3 times and win a season ticket - that'll be the one they get for free then!!

Yes they were 11, my nephew was one of them. He said the balls were rock solid, and could only just get them off the floor

Makes me laugh too when their reward isn't cash in pocket but vouchers to spend in the club shop. Bet BFC are really cacking their pants at the thought of having to "give away" a pair of socks or summat like.

It's a crossbar challenge for a reason, fair enough there should be alternatives for young kids but people can hardly complain when everyone knows the rules and what is expected as well as the limitations of kids doing it. It's hardly Barnsley's fault that adults put 11 year old kids up to do something most adults would struggle with.

No problem with the challenge (which is to lift the ball).

But not many 11 year olds that I have come across can kick it that far and lift it at the same time.

The challenge SHOULD be for the kids, and therefore to give them a fighting chance, just bring it in a few yards.

It's cringeworthy to watch kids who obviously play, fail through no fault of their own, just the bad judgement of the organisers. Just put them 3 yards closer. It's still a challenge.

Or change the challenge to "upright challenge" for kids. Hit the woodwork anywhere.

Anyone is able to enter, you just send an email and the next on the list are chosen. If it happens to be two kids, it's two kids. It's a bit of fun isn't it, and I would have thought the chance to take part was prize enough. To shoot in front of the Ponty End etc. Especially for kids.

Will pass on the feedback though.

Please do Whitey. If it's small kids they need to be closer to even stand a chance. It is actually awful to watch when you can see that they have no chance.

I was right next to them filming it. I don't see it being an issue to move it forward. Even Ryan Williams came over to say it should be from the penalty spot for kids. Like I say, I'll pass it on.
