After a bit of a settling in period at the club, the lad now seems to be finding his feet. His work rate could never be questioned, but he's now looking more like the goalscorer we all saw at Walsall. He gets on the end of crosses, despite not being the tallest of strikers and is beginning to notch a few goals. I'm looking forward to his contributions in this second half of the season and can see him becoming a bit of a crowd favourite.
Keep up the good work, Tom.

I loved his performance yesterday. The reason why Leeds had to go so direct was his pressing. He never gave the defenders a chance to play out from the back. Lovely header too.

Fully agree. I always thought we signed him as Winnall's replacement. Sam's talent was getting on the end of things, and we were lucky that, as a team, we put so much into the box for him to get on the end of. Now he's gone I fully expect Bradshaw to step up and start getting on the end of those same balls - we all know that he can do it from his time at Walsall.

His goal against Leeds felt a bit like a Winnall goal to me.

If you look I don't think he has started that many games alot of sub appearances. He needs to set himself a target that was his 5th this season he needs to be looking at getting 10-15 by eos. He played well yesterday.

Yes, without the experience of the top flight (not yet anyway). I was thinking something similar this morning and wondering if there was a Paul Wilkinson-type player out there that we could pick up in the next week or two. Payne or Bogle could do a similar job but they are totally unproven at this level. One or two knowing, old heads in this team right now and I reckon we could fly even higher.

I can't see any great similarity myself between Bradshaw and Hendrie. Hendrie was a better dribbler and far stronger than Bradshaw, who, I feel, can be bullied at times by defenders. I am not saying that he is not a talented player, but I think we need someone with him who has a strong physical presence - like Marley, for example, who is never knocked off the ball.

I wasn't talking about similarities in the way they play. Hendrie was a different player, more of a winger turned striker.

Too just reminds me of him in his body shape and the way he backs into defenders. His goal at wolves being a prime example.

His link up play was quality Saturday, lost count of the times he came short & laid off a simple looking but hard to do ball to one of our midfielders, it helped get us up the pitch a lot
