And pronounce it "Kez"? It's not a "Keztrel" is it? And Billy Casper clearly calls the bird "Kess". Yet people still get it wrong, even those who've seen the film.
Why do people do the dance to the 'Greased Lightning' song wrong from Grease? Everyone starts off with their arm near their body and moves it outwards before pointing up and then out to the side. In the film they clearly go from the outside in, which makes sense as your arm is already there to lift up rather than having to bring it back across your body.
My friend is called Kerry. I call her kez normal ker. Well it isnt kezzy is it? Same point. The writer of the book calls it kez by the way. He should know
I was just watching a clip from that and come here to find a conversation on it - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=52C6F-nrtfc
I've never realised that everyone deserves it went but they do don't they, they all set off inside out. In the actual film John travolta doesn't do it very well though and has to move his arm back because he got too far with the first part. At least I think he does
David Bradley doesn't in the film. See this trailer, see how the voiceover guy pronounces it too. Billy calls the kestrel "kes" because it's short for kestrel (and he doesn't have much of an imagination), "kez" is not.
Saw them live a couple of years ago and they made a point of saying everyone does the "m" wrong and it makes them look like a monkey
It's in the language, regardless what Billy says in the film. We don't say spass either, or Gassa. Or music biss... I blame the immigrantz..
